My first try with watercolour.
I stamped the rose in a very light grey ink onto watercolour paper and then started painting with my aquarells.
The fine lines of the stamp are not that fine anymore, but I hope that'll come with experience.

Wow, your 1st time watercoloring and you created this beautiful card! I really like the soft look of your roses. Very lifelike. I also like the way you accented your flowers with the green border and tannish color "behind" the flowers. Just gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your creativity.

Thank you Loretia and bfinlay.
The tannish colour behind the rose was a lucky accident. I couldn't wait for it to dry and used my heatgun... well the watercolourpaper didn't like that and turned brown.
I was so angry with myeslf for ruining my image, when I thought, what the heck, I like that colour and used my heatgun all over the rose :-)
