As in not heavy metal - a girlie take on the metal foil art we were doing for the TLC a couple of weeks back.
This is for 1busymomof2's challenge, and I think it also counts for TexasGrammy.
I stuck some chipboard flowers onto a piece of thin chipboard, covered it with foil tape and cut the tag with a Sizzix die. After burnishing round the flowers and adding stitch lines all round the edges with my tracing wheel, I painted it with white acrylic and rubbed some off.
Then I used pink, blue and green alcohol inks dabbed on all over it. I used some Liquid Pearls to rub onto the little flowers to help them stand out a bit, and added a gem to the centre of each. I finished it off with some green Stickles leaves, and some blue around the edges. The butterfly was cut from gold card and embossed, and I tied it with silver twine.
And it was almost impossible to get a good picture of - we were having a torrential downpour at the time, and now the light is going.
