This is primarily for Vicki's DTGD challenge, but it's also for Tammie's challenge, Lydia's B challenge and Kittie's A challenge.
A2 base. Paper is Graphic 45 French Country sponged with some Faded Jeans and Forest Moss, then embossed with SU's Square Lattice and sponged with more Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and Soot Black. I edged it with black Stickles.
Spellbinders Bird Sanctuary cage cut from silver card. I used Cheery Lynn small flourish and wove that through the bars. The little flowers are just a small round punch and a scrap of paper that had been gessoed, shaped with a stylus and with a drop of yellow paint in the centre of each. Bird is also Spellbinders, cut from Core-dinations and sanded.
Sentiment is from ODBD, I found one last Hodgepodge Hardware frame to fit the label punch and coated it with Chinese Red EP. A little bunch of feathers finish this off. I felt the top corners look bare but couldn't find anything that looked right. Maybe some very fine black lace - which I don't have!

So perfectly vintage - even your backdrop! I always think of birds and birdcages as classic vintage! You, young lady have a wide range of styles in your bag of tricks. Thanks for such a beautiful card!
Sabrina, the bird and cage against the dark embossed background is so lovely and the feather is such a wonderful embellishment. Thank you for playing in my challenge.

I have a new favourite. This is a knock out. Love all the details, the colours and texture. The little flowers are gorgeous, thanks for sharing how you made them. I love the combination of challenges with this one. Gorgeous work Sabrina....you must be exhausted.
