Today is our wedding anniversary...so glad that SCS makes a big deal of it each year...giggle! Long story short, slacker wifey is just getting DH's card done today. I know that I'm probably the only one in the world who loves crackle paint, but I adore the shabby effect. Stamped, colored and sponged the panel, embossed the gingham with some manly distressed stripes and added the ribbon and not-so-manly pearls. Mounted on a Flourishes white card and done - of course the inside inscription is Glad I picked you. This card was built from a recipe from a Flourishes challenge - they are celebrating their 6th anniversary. For deets visit the blog: http://flourishes.org/blog/
Thanks hostesses for the mahvelously fun challenges. Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.

Marie, this is just gorgeous! I do l-o-v-e crackle paint myself. And, as the reining Prez of the Slacker Club, I say you are not "late" until a week past the event! Lol. Thanks so much for playing, your card is elegant and charming!

This is so cute, Maria. Love how you embossed your patterned paper, and those ribbon pennants are fantastic! Thanks for playing along with this DTGD challenge!
