Today's IC challenge took us to Urban Outfitters. They have a HUGE selection of items from which to find inspiration. I made my card as a "dream" or "fantasy" scene. It was fun to make and I think the sentiment is very true. Life w/o dreams (a mix of serious and fun) would be too ordinary and boring, don't you think? Hee! My cousin is 14 and just starting high school in August. She is quite the athlete and artist. I don't want her to forget to dream and in the process, continue to express herself artistically. I will see her today and I can't wait to hear what she thinks about this "whimsical" card that I made for her.

what a fun card....great scene...made me smile!
It reminded me of my mom and dad and when they celebrated their 40th anniversary and we had their lawn covered with 40 pink flamigos.

Perfect card for a 14 yr. old with artistic talent and dreams - and what 14 yr. old doesn't have dreams! It's so whimsical and fun, yet meaningful too!

So cute and fun for your cousin. Fabulous piece of advice in your seniment too. This sorta reminds me of the flamingos one sees planted in yards for those 'special' birthdays!!
