I made this for last week's Technique lovers challenge (TLC43 - create faux metal art using metal foil tape. Since I didn't have any foil tape, I use tin foil instead. It was quite messy trying to glue down so many pieces of foil and took a long time. However, after I slapped on the black paint and rubbed it off, the metal effect was amazing! I don't have Inka-Gold, so I used brown and pink paint to give the extra colour to the metal look. Thanks, Judy for sharing this technique! Now I must buy some foil tape so that it won't take me so long to create the base piece.
Materials under the foil:
coarse twine
"hope" and flowers chip board stickers
plastic body scrub mesh

This turned out GREAT! I like your tints of pink and brown on top of the rubbed black. I'm looking at all the details of the "underneath"..thanks for including the materials you used..wow..this is AWESOME!! Your perseverance payed off on this....I do advise getting the self adhesive metal tape though...it is easier to apply. Well done!

Oh gosh - well done you for persevering with sticking foil down! I find it bad enough having to do one piece to cover a shape for embossing. Well worth it, you have a fabulous card to show for your efforts. I love the little flowers under the foil. And body-scrub mesh - who'd have thought!!
