This is one tiny detailed image to color! I did the clown with watercolor crayons except for the color pink – I just needed a finer tip for those swirls.
Drag sponging is done on all edges. The oval was cut with Coluzzle and hand cut around the images outside the oval. The gift is a cut out and placed on the card – it was an after thought once I got the image cut out. There are layers of cardstock glued to the back of the gift to keep it even with the main image.
I started the card by choosing the background paper and played of the colors from it. I like this guy more now than when I started the card. He was not a favorite image, the set was given to me and IÂ’ll make use of anything for the Keiki kids.

I love this! I have wanted this set since I first saw it (which was of course after it had already been retired...) and now I may have to go scour BST for it. What a great job coloring him! and the background paper just adds to the whole effect.
