This is my one layer card with masking for the CAS challenge and I tried to follow the sketch, but left the smaller square off....hope I won't get in too much trouble
First I stamped the sunflowers, then I masked them with a circle. I had some leaves (border cut) I had made with my Cricut and I used them to make (mask) the three lines. Hopefully you can see them. I sponged on the peeled paint. It didn't need to be a perfectly smooth finish (LOL obviously) and where I thought the color was too much, I just lightened with my blender pen. The sunflowers and blue background were colored with Copic markers.

Kathleen, that is a beautiful sunflower and I love the way you used the leaves for a mask and sponged around them for the vertical panels in the sketch - wonderful idea!

REALLY lovely, Kathleen. Your coloring of the sunflower is exquisitely done and the pounced kleenex bg adds interest but doesn't detract from your beautiful focal point.
