Task #2 asked us to:
1. On top of the second paper you added in Task 1 (Paper "B"), place another, somewhat smaller paper (Paper “C”). It should be a neutral, light-colored paper (crème or pale color on which text will show well). “C” should be smaller than “B”, so you can see about1/4-1/2” of the edges of “B” all the way around.
2. To the top portion of “C”, add a photo or photo collage (approx. 6x8” for a 12x12” page). (Photo should fill most of the top portion of C, with just 1/4” of C visible on top and side edges of photo. There will be a wide part visible on the lower half of “C
3. Place a 1’ to 1 ½”strip of paper horizontally over the lower edge of the photo, extending the right & left sides of strip beyond the edges of Paper “C”. (This strip can be patterned or plain, and/or shaped and ends can be shaped, angled or straight.)
4. Add one embellishment (button, flower, flair, or other object) on the horizontal strip where the strip intersects with papers “B” and “C”.
I admit that I needed to view Wendy's page before adding these next steps! lol Thanks Wendy!
I added the Very Vanilla on top of the Kiwi Kiss layer. Added some photos to the top portion with a strip of paper (flag) over the bottom. Then, added the scallop circle punch with the embellishment (swirl flower).
****I changed my background color to be Very Vanilla to match the layer that I added today****
Supplies Used:
Background Paper - Very Vanilla Cardstock
Stamp Brush set - Spring to Life (leaves -- Basic Black to create background paper)
Punch - Square (filled w/Spring to Life DSP #10 --with ripped photo option, #12 and Textured Cardstock - Lucky Limeade and Very Vanilla), Flag (Tangerine Tango), Scallop Circle (Basic Black)
Embellishment - Spring to Life (swirl flower)

This is turning out SO cute, Diane! I know the instructions were kind of complex. It's a little harder for me to keep them clear when I know non-digi folks might do them too! I'll be posting a page today that I did at the end of June for my DGD's b'day--this page reminds me a lot of it!
