Here is my card for last Tuesday's MMTPT challenge. We are sending cards to Mary Jane in AR who suffered a slight stroke and will be spending some time in rehab.
My card is also for last Thursday's WT434 challenge, to represent your state flower. IL's state flower is the violet. I chose three shades of Ranger di purple colors. I stamped, embossed, and water-colored the ink, blending to achieve somewhat of an ombre style. I placed about eight Zva pearls on the card but they don't showing on the picture. :( Hmmm.
THANKS for looking!

You do create such lovely backgrounds, Gabby! Those purples make a lovely soft background for your white wildlflower meadow.
I know what you mean about upper floors being warmer - when we moved from a duplex with a ground-floor bedroom to a different house with an upstairs one, it was a real adjustment in heat terms!! At least you have air-con to keep you cool and stamping ;-).
