This weeks teaparty is a quilting bee.The cousin of one of our own teapotters has suddenly taken a severe turn for the worse and our cards are headed her family's way. Their grandmother made aprons for her 3 sisters every Christmas and then made quilts from the aprons.
I have included 2 pictures of my card (I never do this as to me it is quite vain to think someone wants to look at your card from every angle) only because it is actually quilted paper and you can't see the relief face on.
I used Crafty Secrets "Sew Special" and their paper. The lacy circle is a straight stamp which I curved on the stamp block. The "quilt" has thin batting under the paper and looks a lot puffier IRL.
I went a bit nuts with the pearls. I have an addiction to the things. the flowers is a Spellbinders die.

Wow! This is so pretty!!! I LOVE your beautiful papers, each one in a wonderful color and pattern! Your sewing in the pink thread is fabulous!!! Then the pink buttons, delightful! Your sentiment is perfect and really, is there such a thing as too many pearls? LOL Nope! Love it all!!!
