This weeks teaparty is a quilting bee.The cousin of one of our own teapotters has suddenly taken a severe turn for the worse and our cards are headed her family's way. Their grandmother made aprons for her 3 sisters every Christmas and then made quilts from the aprons.
I have included 2 pictures of my card (I never do this as to me it is quite vain to think someone wants to look at your card from every angle) only because it is actually quilted paper and you can't see the relief face on.
I used Crafty Secrets "Sew Special" and their paper. The lacy circle is a straight stamp which I curved on the stamp block. The "quilt" has thin batting under the paper and looks a lot puffier IRL.
I went a bit nuts with the pearls. I have an addiction to the things. the flowers is a Spellbinders die.
Since there is a rolled flower on it, it qualifies for this months dirty dozen challenge "Just roll with it"

So glad you posted two views of this gorgeous card. It really has such dimension to it. Love all those little pearls too. WOW card! TFS :0).......You do realize that Curt and his line dancin' cousins are going to want a percentage of the take on those golf balls, don't you? hehe

I can see why we needed the side view...you put such thought into all these details! ...and they really needed to be shown here. Fabulous card, so pretty.
