Jodi's gallery is full of gorgeous vintage type creations. Not my forte but definitely food for inspiration. After some thought, I decided to use this card as my jumping off point: Vintage angelic birthday card by jodi r. at Splitcoaststampers
What I used for my inspiration was a winged creature (angel in Jodi's card) surrounded by a frame. In a nod to her vintage style, I used the Love Letters dp. I also wanted to use the Black Toast designs from the Emma Bridgewater site for yesterday's IC challenge: http://www.emmabridgewater.co.uk/pat...patblacktoast/
I love the black on white script (like my transparency frame). What is 'black toast', by the way? Do the English like their toast burnt?
So that's how I got to where I got. I used the stickles to highlight my fairy's dress and I also used the stickles to glue down the transparency.

Jean, this card makes me think of Parisian art deco. I really like it. The use of the Stickles was brilliant. It really made the card pop! Love this! Thanks for playing!
