For the CAS223 Challenge "Tool Time - Use Your Piercing Tool", I broke out a piercing template I'd never used and made the piercing the focus of the card.
Since I mostly make Christmas cards, I chose a Christmas sentiment that relates to the piercing template which has a lot of stars on it - "Star light, star bright, a wish for peace on earth tonight". And used gold mirror cardstock for bordering to make it look more festive. The centre of the piercing template is blank and it was just the right size for my oval Nesties and sentiment.
For some reason, it was very hard to photograph to bring out the piercing and the way the gold mirror cs shows through the piercing.

What a great template to use on this pretty card!
