This is for my ds, Rich, who in Jan. became aware of the challenge of his life, as he now battles chronic myeloid leukemia carrying the p1 gene. No cure and chemo and radiation don't work on this for remissions. An avid Trekkie, I chose this card for a bit of a challenge for him to remember the quote. I know he will just rattle it off to me. lol..
For the card I used SU cherry cobbler cs, black and whisper white. I stamped the horse image mutliple times and sponged the grass and sky. I punched the clouds with a fiskars punch. Got the Enterprise star ship from coloring pages and popped up for a close sweep of earth! ps the ans. is Star Trek Deep Space Nine, 1st season, episode 16.

Great card for RJ, since he is such a fan of Star Trek, guess you could ask him anything and he would know it. Hope he likes all his cards and that brings back memories of both the old and new versions of the movie/tv show. Love the racing stallions with the ship on their heels.

Boldly go... via horse or ship... what a great way to integrate the two images. (Makes me think of the movie where Kirk is rising his horse, actually). I have enjoyed making and checking out the cards for your son, I wish him all the best.
