This is Meredith's VSN challenge to make a card with an image of a dog and heat embossing.
I have had this Penny Black/Margaret Sheery image for a long, long time and have made quite a few cards with it and my favorit use of it is to have him popping out of the box.
I first stamped the pup then masked him with some copic masking film, I then stamped over the top using my SU Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to get the positioning right.
I stamped the box a second time with water mark ink and used SU Early Expresso embossing powder, I cut the back half of th ebox away and discarded it, coloured the image and the extra front box.
I sponged SU Regal Rose around the edges and then went over this with Always Artichoke, I then mounted with SU Dimensionals the front of the box over the image.
I printed off the greeting from the computer using True Font AL Hairbrained and did the same sponging around the edges as on the image.
Hope you are inspired thanks for looking.
Cheers
Marg

, I have that stamp too - it's the first one I think of for dog challenges. But having him popping out of the box adds so much more. Great distressing, too.
