I had a papermaking class at my house last night. I had card ideas laid out so that with the finished paper pieces I could show the ladies how they could be used, in this case on a card.
We began with scrap paper, put it in a blender with water and made paper pulp. Then poured through a sieve and put the pulp onto a clay cookie mold. Press the water out and dry it and you get a paper-press medallion.
I had to darken the scan to properly see the medallion. The base card stock is navy with gold pigment ink for the harliquin diamonds and old olive (preprinted with a flower pattern)ribbon.
