Our color challenge today is pool party, real red and so saffron. I used acrylic paint on this reverse silhouette poppy image (similar to pool party) and then with a paint brush, I added the real red, a bit of soft suede for stems and so saffron around the outside. A tiny bit of black glitter for the flower centers. I ended up stamping the sentiment in the paint as well. For dessert I utilized CC294 for pearls and or lace...I used both AND I dyed my lace real red....consequently, I was done until my lace dried. I colored the pearls so saffron. This will go to my backyard neighbor for her birthday as well as some homemade chocolate chip cookies.
I have been away from stamping...it's good to be home!
