I made this card for this week's CAS and MMTPT challenges. I have never done the chalkboard techinque before and it was fun. May have to try this again sometime. I used a very old SU set Painted Garden as it reminds me of someone drawing on a chalkboard, so felt it was perfect for this technique. I used bashful blue, certainl celery and white chalk to color my kraft ink image. And smeared it a little to look like chalk dust. Thanks for looking.

Oh my goodness, I recognized that image right away - used to have that set! The artwork reminds me of the style in the set I used today, also an old SU set : ) These style images really lend themselves to this technique, don't you think?

Mary, you did the chalkboard technique perfectly! I thinks the "smears" set it apart from other similar techniques because it looks like a chalkboard that wasn't completely cleaned, just erased, after the last use. Your flower image is terrific and does look like it was drawen with chalk. Fun CAS card.
