I decided I should play with my Colorbox pigments on fabric since it says it can do such things. I noodled about what to make and remembered I had been wanting to gift a jar of my Peach Jalapeño Jam to a friend. Perfect time to dress up a jar!
{The jam recipe is one that is dear to me because I got it from Lori (stamp_momma) and it is SCRUMPTIOUS}
To make the design on the fabric I started out with plain white cotton and cut it into a circle to go under the jar ring. I then saturated my circle with Stone pigment ink and heat set it with my craft iron under some tissue paper. I then stamped the flowers on with Snow pigment ink and heat embossed it with white ep. I added some water to Jungle and Limon inks and brushed the color into the flowers. I then heat set it again and added some stickles for sparkly flower centers. I was surprised and delighted how easy it was to stamp on the fabric. So much fun!
So what do ya think?
