I paper pieced two of the flowers with map paper from Basic Grey. I stamped the other flowers on the background and painted them with bleach. An interesting color appeared. That is always the fun surprise of bleaching paper. Many of us Texans will be hitting the roads in the weeks ahead to view the awesome wildflowers that bloom in our state in the spring. So thought map flowers would be a great little way to represent that event. Also, just give me any kind of reason to make a floral card, and I am on it!!LOL

So pretty Liz and I love how the sentiment goes so perfectly with the map theme!

Your flowers are beautiful, Liz....love how you used the map and the yellow centers!!! I was driving back from my DGD's guitar lesson yesterday and almost drove off the road looking at the Bluebonnets. I can't wait to gather all the Grands for their yearly Bluebonnet picture!!!

Adorable idea and layout. I may have to case this one. I have some of that CS you used for the map and never quite know what to do with it. This is beautiful.
