Well, this card isn't at all what I was planning to make when I saw the knot challenge this morning. I had the paper on my desk and was thinking guy, African safari with a knot... well I knocked my container of quilled roses over and it landed on the paper. It looked so pretty that I decided to go a different way. I made several pretzel knots for the base of my card as well as my detachable bookmark. I thought that it kinda looked like a trellis made of twine. The swirly paper clip is just holding the corner of the bookmark.

I've learned a couple of new knots this evening - I'll have to Google your pretzel knot, MariLynn. I'm so glad you went this way and not with your original ideas - this is simply gorgeous.
