Our teapot party this week is for Linda, who has been rather limited in her card making and other wonderful hobbies of late due to health issues. See Linda's story HERE
Linda has always given of her talents to help others - especially her woodworking creations - donated to help her school and church's raffles. Those who bring joy to others cannot keep it from themselves, so I am hoping that Linda gets a LOT OF JOY from all the tea potter's cards that will be filling her mailbox this coming week.
I used the Serve the Lord set from ODBD for the Lily image, embossed it in gold, colored in with markers lightly, layered it on shiny gold CS,and added a sentiment, some crinkled seam binding, and flowers with gold punched branches.
This is also to honor Connie this week as our FS318 for her card IN MY THOUGHTS I used her format but flipped it, put the ribbon off to the side because my image was so large and instead of adding brads on the main panel - I added the flowers off to the side - quite a bit of changes, but Connie's card was what inspired this for me!!
If you would like to join us, put MMTPT241 in your keywords, and maybe send your card on to Linda for an uplifting of her spirit!
Bless your heart, Linda, for always being so giving to help others - Your service is not only to them but through them, you also serve God with your wonderful talents.

What a beautiful and amazing card, Sue! Amazing card for an amazing woman! You had me at purple, but your glorious image with the gilded frame and details is just spectacular. Your ribbon treatment is g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s. Thanks so much for coming to Linda's Teaparty...she is going to love this! Now go and get a couple of those cute duckie cookies...but watch out for flying pots and cameras. Big Hugz from this side of the river!!
