Today's sketch, flipped to look better with my chick stamp.
The current Impression Obsession challenge is "what's your hobby".
Oh, that's apart from card-making, yes? Well, I don't know if this little chick is meant to be a cook, but with that hat I thought she was, and it's why I bought her. While I used to cook professionally, it's now a hobby, and much less stressful that way!!
5 3/4" square base. Watercolour paper for Chicken #1 , and two different shades of Bo Bunny for the rest, all stitched. I used two different CAC stamps on the linen/ecru colour, stamped with Brilliance Starlite Black: Tapestry 2 and Flourishes .
Hen is coloured with watercolours, and I added a pair of oven gloves. In real life I don't think you can beat Nomex gauntlets, but pretty they ain't.

super cute card... love the wonderful colouring of that cute image and the great stitching..also love the colour combo... in answer to your question, I dont think this chick is the cook, I think she is just pretending to be the cook so that she doesnt wind up in the stew pot... lol...
