I had fun playing with Water, Spectrum Noir Rinker and Tuscan Sun Glimmer Mist for this week's Water You Doing? challenge.
I started by stamping my Image in India Ink and clear embossed on heavy watercolor paper.
I put a few drops of Spectrum Noir BP6 re-inker on a piece of plastic (I use scraps and throw them away when I'm done) and used a water brush to pull the ink from the left of the paper to the center. Next I dipped my brush in Glimmer mist and moved from the right until the colors overlapped in the center.
After it dried, I went back with more concentrated re-inker and water and painted the rose for a bit more contrast. I added a bit of black bling to the center of my clock.
This project is also for the Love is in the Air Challenge at the Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog.
