This is for both the Inspiration Challenge and the Lovefest Challenge sponsored by MFT. This is my inspiration piece .
I am making this for a friend who is ill and house bound at this time. Problem is, they don't know what is wrong with her, but everything she is exposed to seems to make her ill. If this sounds familiar, it is because I posted a card not too long ago that was for her as well. Interestingly, I was informed by her husband that they only received an empty envelope! I sure hope the post office enjoyed the original card!
So here is card number 2-I started out making it blue and yellow based on my inspiration piece, but I added Cajun Craze to give the embossed bricks more definition. Yes, those flowers are fussy cut-I love fussy cutting, strange as it sounds!
Thanks for looking!

I love the addition of cajun craze to your brick bg. Gives it such dimension. And speaking of dimension, your fussy cut flowers are AMAZING! Beautiful card, and I am sure it will bring much joy to your friend. Hope she gets well soon.

I hope they find out what is happening to your find...and that this BEAUTIFUL card actually makes it to her! The Cajun was a wonderful last minute addition.

How lovely, Lee Ann. The SU set never looked so good. Love the yellow roses with the brick wall backdrop. The teal accents of the ribbon and foliage flourish make for a lovely color combo with the other colors.

Oh no - what a shame about the empty envelope! Can you believe I once had an empty envelope returned to me back from the States, with a note from our PO saying it had been returned to them empty. Why they bothered??? Except that I knew the recipient hadn't got it either...
Your friend will love this, it's beautiful; and I am in awe of your detailed cutting of Elements of Style - that's a true labour of love.

This is SO pretty! That brick background is one of my favorites! You fussy cut that? It's so intricate and I can't imagine how long that took! Beautiful card and love that bow!
