This is my card for the Central Theme of the Splitcoaststampers February Fan Club challenge.
The Bentley Bear image and sentiment are by artist Adam Pescott and came free with an issue of the UK magazine Cardmaking and Papercraft (a while ago now)- and layered using the paper tole method (called decoupage in the UK) using dimensionals. I added some Kindyglitz Crystalina glitter glue to the sprinkles on the cupcakes plus I added a little to the butterfly (not that you can see from the photo....sigh...)
The main image and sentiment panel were layered onto teal designer paper from my Bo Bunny 'Sweet Tooth' 6" x 6" pad and the background dp is also from the same pad.
I lightly went around the teal dp with my aqua pigment ink pad on the sentiment panel to hide my slightly imperfect hand-trimming.
The ribbon was attached in 2 separate elements and the bow itself was made with my Bow Easy. The pink heart button is by Trimits. Lastly, I added three teal sparklets to the top RHS.
This card will be going to my sister-in-law for her birthday next week.
Thanks for having a peek at my card! Please come and peek at my blog - I have close-up photos plus a photo of the card inside. This link will take you directly to my card: http://instead-of-ironing.blogspot.c...ay-wishes
