This is for the Mix2 challenge - to use embossing resist. It also qualifies for the Lovefest challenge today - LOVE.
I stamped the SU! oval from Hello! Hello! in versamark on vanilla paper, and embossed with clear ep. I used daubers and various SU! colors to give a tye-died watercolor look to the background, and then cut the oval out with a framelit.
I used the instructions in the Techniques section to improve the way I photographed and Photoshopped the image.
The rose is an MFT die.
And there is a lot of LOVE in this card. This is my Valentine for my DH - we both love roses.
L -- layers
O -- ovals
V -- very vanilla, valentine
E -- embossing powder
Thanks for looking!

Very sweet! I like your emboss resist; before I read your description, I thought you had managed to ink up that stamp with multiple different colors. Really cool look-
