Well after I posted my husband's card you see here, I saw the L.O.V.E challenge...and I was 3 for four. I added a little organza bow and ta-da!
For the record:
L - Love
O - Organza bow
V - Vanilla, Valentine
E - (heat) Embossing - all that for my love!!
Maki's challenge for us at the Flourishes Blog this week was to use hearts on our creations: http://flourishes.org/blog/. I made this man-friendly CAS card on Tuesday but didn't want DH to see it until today, hence the late post.
Cut the largest Nestie Heart Circle from Cherry Cobbler. Cut a medium Nestie Heart and stamped the sentiments from Flourishes Lace Heart and You are Invited in Versamark & Rhubarb Stalk. Heat embossed with clear EP. Mounted all on a piece of BG Little Black Dress, added the Flourishes satin plisse ribbon and Kaiser Jewels. Mounted all on a Flourishes white card and done PT - 2
Thanks Lydia for the cool challenge!Thank you all for looking. Happy Valentines Day...may it be a peaceful one.

Your pleated ribbon with the organdy bow reminds me of a garter Marie...wouldn't that make DH happy LOL! Such a great Valentine for your DH with the heart border and striped bg.
