This week our cards are going to Deatsville, Alabama, to Sara. Sara was brought to us by her daughter Nancy (nwilliams6)
Sara Hodge just turned 77 but looks a lot younger. She married Nancy's step-dad, Leavie, 4 years ago.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer about 5 yrs ago and had chemo and radiation treatments. They have watched her closely so it was a shock when she had breast cancer about 5 years ago and had a mastectomy and they discovered the first tumor in the same spot as her mastectomy. It has spread to all the bones in her upper body - but most spots are small and the largest tumor is in her shoulder blade. They are trying hormone blockers, bone strengtheners and iron. They say it looks promising so far. If it doesn't work they will do chemo next.
Since Sara likes a big red angus cow called Little Archie, I knew I needed to make sure he was the star of the show! Since it is Valentine's Day this week, I wanted to show lots of loving critters. The CAS challenge this week was Love in the Air and I thought I would use that, but I think I passed CAS since I used about 22 stamps! LOL
Hope Sara gets a kick out of all the critters (even cooties) that are celebrating with Little Archie! Thanks for taking a peek!

O.M.G, my jaw just hit the floor. This is like a mini work art, your coloring is out of this world. I love all your critters and I adore Little Archie. This is going into My Favs. TFS

I can definitely see the love is in the air theme here since so many animals are in the air. I really love how all of them are looking at the main attraction though......how fun! Your cow is perfect with the ring around her; very nicely created, I'm sure this took quite some time on your part~

What an awesome scene! Love how the spotlight is on Archie, of course! Such neat detail you put into this wonderful card, Kathleen. Especially love the little cooties, now that will liven up the teaparty for sure!

Kathleen,
You've done it again. You've created such a wonderful and adorable scene - and it must have been a lot of work - but it sure paid off - it's just darling!!
