I'm also a quilter. This is a LeMoyne Star. If it's pieced traditionally, it's one of the most difficult, I think, because of all the set-in points. So. A few weeks ago, Sherry (kushabella) loaned her fabulous quilt block dies. I fiddled with them and made quite a few for my stash before returning her dies... cross-country... This one fits with this week's free for all challenge, blue and brown. In real life, the blue is deeper, almost navy. Silly camera.
Here's one of Sherry's beautiful quilt block cards. I'm please to say, it's on display in my office. Blessed.
Accessories: Wplus9 quilt die, nesties fleur de lis squares and back to basics tag dies, floss, foam tape, masking tape (to set the pieces of the die cut)

Brenda, you rocked it with this die.....you have for sure inspired me to make a few more of these. Those silly cameras, I can imagine the background paper, it certainly has an aged fabric look to it Love the simplicity of the lettering in your sentiment and how it is adhered. Just beautiful.

This is fabulous...even if the blue didn't photograph to your liking! I have been wanting to get this die, but it is still out of stock. I'm putting your card into my favorites to study when I finally get the die. Great card! TFS

I agree with all those above me! Brenda, this is a fabulous paper quilt. I love the way you laid out the patterns on point differently...might not have said that quite right. A beauty of a card...and how blessed to have wonderful cyberfriends.

Beautiful card, silly camera or not! I love the dp you chose for the quilt. This card brought to mind all the hours I spent with my grandmother when I was a child. She was a quilter, too. Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
