The ways to use it challenge today was to use green, and I chose Lucky Limeade, Always Artichoke, and River Rock (which seems greenish to me.) I paired the greens with some black and Soft Suede, and all together I thought these would make good colours for some masculine birthday cards. I used this great stamp set from Local King, called 'Grin and Bear It', and I only wish it included some sentiments with it- I had to make those up on my computer and print them out onto some Crumb Cake cs. The standing bear has a coordinating die which cuts around the snout and arms, making them look more 3D. There is a cute card made with this set in the Local King catalogue with the bear holding the fish, and that's what I've modelled this on.
The upper backgrounds are stamped with a bark stamp, also from Local King, and the bottoms are stamped with bear footprints from the set and embossed in black.
The card with the bear's face says, "Another Birthday?" and inside I put, "Better grin and bear it!" I think my Dad might get a kick out of this for his 77th birthday this year!

That sentiment isn't right... whoever made that needs some help, but it's OH SO funny! Thanks for being green with me this week!
