Well, like a lot of folks today I made this to suit both the Technique challenge (use at least 3 patterns), with the CAS challenge (monochromatic cards with one neutral.) I stamped the background stamps onto the yellow cardstocks and then trimmed them into rough triangles with my paper trimmer (no measuring or precision involved!) Don't look too closely or you'll see that I had to splice some extra paper onto a couple of the triangles since I realized (after I had glued them down) that it looked better if all the 'sunrays' went to the edges of the card...
Anyway, I was inspired to make this card this morning because we had such a beautiful sunrise, which was all the more welcome after several days of rain/sleet.

This is a fantastic way of using the different patterns! I love the "sun" rays and that tree die cut is great (I keep drooling over that die in the gallery - on my wist list!).

Your sun rays looks so cute with all the different patterns. I love that tree and it looks so good up against the yellows.
