Hmmmm....this card is really different for me. As much as I love these richly colored, beautiful earrings from the Villa Sorgenfrei inspiration website, I'm not sure how well I translated it to my card. I thought I'd upload it anyway and see what you think. What kind of occasion would you use this for?
This is also for the first Mixed Media challenge that started yesterday. Lydia's challenge is called Yin Yang to use one shiny medium and one matte medium. I used Distress Inks sponged on Crumb Cake card stock, and I used Glossy Accents for the center of the flower as well as a red glitter gel pen for the outer stitching and dotting on the flowers. I also used black embossing powder on the two flowers and separated them with dimensionals. I used Pumice Stone ink to stamp the leaves in the background.

So I see we used the same inspiration piece, Charlene! Your colors are so bright and fun, I would say this card would make a nice thinking of you, thank you or even female birthday card~Simply Beautiful

I've loving those colors and sponging! SO pretty. This is appropriate for any occasion at all- thank you, thinking of you, get well, sympathy- it's perfect!
You must have done a lot of sewing to stitch around that shape so perfectly!
