This card is for Mothermark's aunt Martha who is going thru a tough time right now. Maybe Beauty the swan's story will be a comfort. More to comfort Martha than the extra cookies for ending the story, here goes: Beauty walked a long way down Life's Highway to a fork in the path, going right she was on Life-Change road which she took to the next right which led her to Serenity Lake. She made a veil of hope out of flowers and begin to swim. There she knew she could make a new beginning because she knew love and peace and serenity were available there for her..on SERENITY LAKE.
I printed my image from a coloring page, and cut with spellbinders floral oval nestie, I sponged on the water and sky colors and then with watercolor pencils added color to the flowers and shaded Beauty. This was popped up on a piece of very vanilla embossed cs. I made a ribbon flower and placed a brad in the center and added the ribbon of very vanilla. This all mounted onto a very vanilla card.

I love this card and your story! That swan is beautiful and I love how you sponged the colour around her. I love the beautiful die cut frame the image is on.
