I made this card by creating the background first. On Georgia Pacific white cardstock, I placed a torn Post-It note to create a mask for the snow-covered ground. Using a brayer, I applied SeaShells Cloudy Blue dye ink and ColorBox Ice Blue chalk ink to create a basecoat. I then sponged on Adirondack Sailboat Blue and Distress Ink Faded Jeans dye inks around the edges of the scene. I painted the snowflakes with Copic Opaque White and removed the mask.
Then, on X-Press It cardstock I stamped the Repeat Impressions image "Snow Skating" with Marvy black dye. I colored the image with Copic markers, adding some detail to the scarf and hat by drawing with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker. I cut around the image with detailed scissors.
I stamped the image again, this time directly onto the scene, so I could have the swirl from the ice skates. I adhered the snowman to the scene and added Icicle Stickles to the swirl for some sparkle. I framed the scene with black cardstock and a piece of patterned paper from My Mind's Eye. A sheer white ribbon was added to the card.

Fun and cute!! Your coloring is wonderful, and your fussy cutting, well you can't even tell the snowman was cut out, so that is extraordinary!! This card makes me want to go ice skating and feel the freedom and cold air on my cheeks!!
