Another card for today's Featured Stamper, Sabrina (Cook22)! If you have time today, come and play with us, even if you haven't done the challenge before, HERE is the link! HERE is the beautiful card I which inspired me. I used a new Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps set soon to be available in Korin's Stamps for a Cause series - The Gift of You has a huge variety of sentiments celebrating adoption (More info on my blog).
I had my Mum and Dad in mind when I made this card - they prayed for a wee baby to adopt over 40 years ago and got my little brother! My sister and I were staying with family friends when they traveled to pick him up and I still remember them coming in with that little bundle!
I used Sabrina's layout with the Nestie frame, but changed the flowers and color scheme, also adding some jute twine and a pearl.

How utterly gorgeous - I love the twine and pearl and soft green with that fabulous splash of pink. I'd had a look at that set - it looks like a great one! My nephew in MA is adopted. My half-sis and her husband had been told that there was a baby ready, and they'd picked out a name and everything, and then it fell through because of medical complications. Can you believe that the next baby they were offered actually already had the same they'd chosen!! You wouldn't think Kevin was a very likely choice for someone in Guatemala to call a child, And a great kid he is - not so much of a kid now, either.

Sweet Bridget, what a wonderful way to honor this special time of life, and Sabrina as well. Your work reflects heart, and the beauty spills over. Completely gorgeous my friend! Hugs....
