This is for the WT407 challenge which is to follow up on a 2012 stamping resolution. Since I have been away from stamping all this year up until holiday card making time I never made a resolution until a few days ago. I was finally cleaning up my craft room after it sat idle for more than a year and came across all the stamped images and punchies I had received as a member of Wish Rak here on SCS. There are literally thousands of them. I decided it would be a good idea to use some of them. These owl punchies have been sitting in an envelope for forever so I decided to make one of the little guys.
I stamped his tummy and placed him on the branch punchie from the SU bird punch. It may not show but I used the SU scalloped circle punch as a template to sponge on the cloudy sky both on the owl panel and the card base. I had planned on adding something to the extension of the brown panel but nothing I tried (ribbon, twine, buttons, brads, etc) looked right so I left it as is.

I've been there too, I think I'll add something else and nothing looks right. Sometimes it's best to leave it alone like you did. Sweet looking owl, and you are probably wondering why you waited so long to create him........

Fun card and love that it would work for many different occasions!
