I love neutrals and I knew that I wanted to go in that direction with my Christmas cards that I would give to our church members. I loved the browns and golds in this inspiration piece. I wish the lighting had been better today so that the bg stamping showed up better though it is quite subtle IRL too. I stamped it in crumb cake on my Kraft notecards and sponged the edges with Soft Suede. I stamped baby Jesus in Soft Suede on Natural Ivory and distressed and sponged the edges. The star is stamped in gold on Early Espresso and those edges are distressed as well. I have a new best friend-gold Washi tape. It added a little glimmer without a lot of work and the roll had enough for all 40 cards with some left over.

I LOVE this.....I love neutrals too! Your baby Jesus stamp is awesome...I just adore that simple 'blocky' look. It reminds me so much of cards a family friend who was an artist, used to send us years and years ago. I'm struggling to get the right words...they're not coming.....I LOVE your card!!!!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
