this is a card to cheer Marlene, I love that saying about a snowflake being winter's butterfly..here's a welcome chance to use it. I gave the faux patina technique a try, using the SU pretty in pink with rasberry ripple and eb snowflake folder embossed with silver eb powder. Cut the sentiment with Spellbinders oval and sponged without removing from die, then added a silver snowflake charm and ribbon.

Beautiful card all in pink and silver! You did a good job w/the faux patina technique. I'm going to have to check into that. The snowflake bkgd and sentiment w/charm is very nice. Thank you for giving to my Mom this Christmas!

Beautiful, Mary!! I love the silver embossed snowflakes on the pink and the sweet snowflake charm! We don't have snow here, so the hummers that hang around year round take the place of snowflakes and butterflies. Marlene will love this beauty!
