This week our cards are headed off to a fellow Teapotter's daughter. DeAnna, daughter of Mrs.Boz has just had a double masectomy. When she would normally be taking the family to Disneyland, she is recovering from a big surgery. So here come the Teapotters to bring a little Disney to them.
Check out the teapot and service, they're like confections, made for a princess. Thus the pink and gold and Disney in the gallery this week.
I had this beautiful gold scrap sitting around and it looked great with the poinsettias. Deanna's children's names have been printed out on the computer with the strip attached under the ribbon (the hearts that you see, they are from the letter Y in the Webdings font). The poinsettias are done with a beautiful dp from Anna Griffen and dew drops for the centers.
You really don't have to look too hard, but there are hidden Mickey's on the front. I used circle punches to make the positive and negatives, then stenciled. You cant tell too much in this photo, but I've smeared the gold ink pad over the leaves to add a touch of glimmer.

Oh, just gorgeous! Reading the challenge before work and I'm thinking I need to go into the garden for my card too whenever I can find a spare hour. So clever with the little sponged Mickey Mice and those flowers are so beautiful. A 24 carat gold creation here, for sure.

Oh my goodness, what a creative tea party card and the golden bg is so very elegant, Jennifer. You put so much care and thoughtfulness into making this very personal with the names and the exact colors and the tiny Mickey silhouettes - it's incredibly special and shows your BIG heart!

Beautiful poinsettias! I like all your special touches on this pretty card; the gold paper is lovely and those Y's cut into hearts are adorable right where you placed them!

Jennifer this is just beautiful. I love the bg paper and those amazing poinsettias. How you added everyone's name is so sweet. I love the dragonfly and the pretty leaves. Then the Micky's discreetly stamped in is a great touch. Lovely!
