I've been wanting to make an easel card, so I decided to use an ornament to pop up for the top to sit on.
I used a conglomeration of items for this card. I'm disappointed that it didn't turn out like I had hoped, but I put a lot of effort into it. The snowflakes are sparkly, but you can't really tell from the photo. I added an ornament border on the bottom layer of the card and popped up both ornaments. Used MS PATP snowflake for the framing of the ornament. Finished off with a triple loop bow.
I'm thinking I may only have one more holiday card to make if that. I only made 1/2 of what I did last year. It's just too much sometimes even though I enjoy making them.
Have a great evening!
Hugs

I love easel cards and not one of my Christmas cards is one. I think this is great - you coordinated all of the elements beautifully!

Your Christmas cards are always special, but I know how you feel. I am thinking I will mass produce next year - that way you are done fast and then you can just make different ones if you feel like it. We should meet halfway between our houses and make them together! I like this, it came out very stylish and the ornaments look super. I think I made my last "have-to" Christmas card today unless I run out. Hugz!

Awesome card Pam. I haven't tackled an easel card yet, but you've inspired me to give it a try. I can't believe you've only got one holiday card to make it! You're a stamping dynamo!!

Pamzi look you going to town with your Martha Stewart Punches. This is adorable. I love how you have the ornaments popped up on this. Just awesome. I know what you mean about how it gets overwhelming with the cards. I cheated this year.....lol I had purchased a card kit like 6 years ago and I put it to good use. I did some embossing and dressed them up but not too much so as not to have to pay more than the 45 cents to send.
