This is my second card for Color Challenge 401 - Tempting Turquoise, Gumball Green and Pear Pizazz. I subbed two of the colors for this card - the TT became PTI"s Hawaiian Shores and the GG became Garden Green, which was darker and thus better higlighted the embossed "tile" BG. The tile background was the starting point for this card. I saw a YouTube tutorial of someone doing it and wanted to try it myself. Was it worth the finicky exertion necessary to glue it all down in relative alignment? Yes, I think it was and I'm sure I'll do it again. The dragonflies are embossed in two EP's, mostly black but I threw some gold on the tips and it's hard to see in the picture but looks interesting. I haven't played with mixing different color EPs before but it's another thing I think I'll do again. Maybe soon. Or as soon as I order some more colors of EP! I was planning on dolling this up more with twine or something, but in the end I liked it left just as it is.
Thanks for looking!
