This is the inside of a 'Thank you Card' that I made for a cardmaking friend who has been such an amazing support to our family whilst we have been going through some very tough times caring for our loved one since the beginning of February this year. Our loved one was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and has spent most of their time in hospital this year going through treatment. Thankfully, they are now at home and getting better each day.
The cotton lace on the bottom panel was originally white but I dyed it with a teabag to make it look 'old' to match the dp's. I attached the lace in 2 separate elements and the bow itself was made with my Bow Easy. I also added some Fray Stop to the cut edges of the bow so that they wouldn't fray.
I used my Perfect Layers Tools to matt all the layers with a 1/8" border. The brad is by Sarah-Jane Paperz from their set 'Bella! Bradz' - which is also by the same company who made the dp's.
The sentiment is by Darcies and is quite old - not sure if it is still available (?). I punched some hearts out of the dusky rose cs, glued them on beside the sentiment and added some Kindyglitz Crystalina glitter glue to them.
I punched the bottom panel using a MS Pinking Scallop edge punch then ran a Scor-Pal line above the mustard cs so I had a straight edge to butt my dp up against - I find this an easy way for me to get my layers on straight.

Beautiful corresponding elements work SO well to make this a lovely card! Love that brad, the floral DP and the decorative border in cream and burgundy. Anyone would love to receive a thoughtful card like this!
