My 1st card using my new SU Holiday catty "Watercolor Winter" stamp set and "More Merry Messages" stamp set from the Annual Catty :-) I can tell I am going to LOVE them both and have more ideas swimming around my head!
This was an easy card after I figured out how I wanted to get green leaves and do my 2-Step stamping for my flowers.
Lots of fussy cutting with my papersnips. Luckily I have always loved using scissors :-)
The flowers were stamped with Raspberry Ripple with the 2 lighter flowers stamped off and the lined stamp with R. Ripple. I stamped the lined stamp in Gumball Green and colored with my blender pen for the leaves. Worked great.
I stamped the leaves onto the main CS and colored. Then added 3 cut out leaf images and 3 cut out poinsettias with the darker flower up on dimensionals. The small flower on the sentiment is the inside of one of the poinsettias cut out.
I just added Dazzling Details to the center of each flower for my only embellishment.

BEE-U-T-FUL!! I love the softness of those gorgeous poinsettias. What a fantastic layout! Love the small poinsettia on the sentiment, too. All that fussy-cutting must have taken you forever ... what well worth it! Thanks for joining us at ATS&M this week!
Wonderful holiday card, Nancy! I love your trio of poinsettias and the script of the sentiment! I also love the look with the vanilla on vanilla oval! Great job with all the cutting!

Great use of the "watercolor winter" set. I like the shading you got with the stamp-off and how you balanced the sentiment using a "center" from one of the flowers. I wouldn't want to have to make a lot of these with all the fussy cutting, but I do love the look and just a few isn't too bad.

Whew! Clean and Simple (CAS) obviously applies to the finished look, 'cause the description of all you had to do to make this doesn't sound simple at all. What a lot of "fussy" work--but it was totally worth it, because this is a gorgeous card.
