Two weeks ago, I couldn't get the simply beautiful drawing by Lia Marie to print out on the cardstock I wanted it on (heavier so I could color it.) I had made it on a lighter card stock w/different dp and the mouse, but I didn't like how it turned out. I then made the alternate "An Angel's Work is Never Done" card for the family. I kept thinking about this card that I originally started and finally, tonight, I decided to re-make it. I printed it again on lighter weight cardstock and left the line drawing as Lia Marie had drawn it. I paper-pieced and inked the heart and added the little mouse sleeping on the cotton ball, that I had already colored.
Baby Easton and his family have been on my mind since the day I received the challenge. Though weeks have passed, I have not and will never forget them. They will always be in the corner of my mind and I will always have a prayer in my heart for them.
Thank you for looking, remembering precious Easton and his family, and for saying a little prayer for them.
Note that Lia-Marie is Rosalina's (JustMe427) daughter. And a heartfelt thank you to Lia-Marie for letting us (me in this case) use her drawing.
