I am glad to be back for tea and cookies...:0)
I had planned to do a fun daffy duck fun card, and decided to do a more quiet serene type guy card with a scripture.
THis was a nice simple one (at least should have been one of them 10 minute card)...lol....NOT....This silhouette is a hard one to get all clear. So ended up doing bgs and stamping it like 5 times. the first 2 on one pretty paper I was saving...bummer...but then made my own kind of like it. turned out not bad. I sponged a touch of yellow and white and dark blue onto this blue paper, and green, then stamped the tree and sentiment, added a touch of he-he glitter opal glue for the shimmery waters and layered it. decided to add just that little triangle and a couple small gems to the one corner. I do love this stamp tho and hope its not too swirly for a guy...:0)
Thanks for visiting...:0)

Wow, that water is beautiful - looks so real and so serene. The tree and deer are so peaceful and very manly. Wonderful card and so perfect for the challenge/destination. I have missed seeing your work (I have been crazy busy).

It looks as if a storms brewing on this beautiful card! I love the wonderful bg you've made, especially the turbulent water of the lake! As long as there's a warm and dry place to be, watching the storm pass is a joy to behold!
