Here's my card for Mary's Let's Lick This Thing challenge.
I've been wanting for some time to try out Faux Postage, so this was the perfect opportunity. DH really likes this card and wants me to make more for us, but either he buys me a postage edge punch or I don't bother with the edging; I ain't no way no how punching that many holes with a 1/16" circle punch again!
A2 black base.
The embossed layer has been on my desk for a while, so all I can say is it's a Snowflake ef, Versamark, Perfect Pearls and ?
Sentiment is from Penny Black, on a tiny tag punch. It and the snowflake brad through the bow both have a gemstone on them.
I pretty much followed the tutorial for the faux postage - created my own template with a table in Word, and even found an old inkjet transparency to make the mask. The snowmen are from Window Dressing, coloured with Evergreen Bough, Festive Berries and Wild Honey. Black Sakura Glaze pen for the buttons, AppliGlue for the trim on the hats. Edges painstakingly punched, and then I popped it up on foam.

Sabrina -- this is perfect in every way! I can't believe you punched ALL that edging by hand - it's so even, I assumed it was a punch! That ribbon is the perfect accent.. LOVE it!

I totally agree with you. If your hubby wants you to make more of these, he definitely has to get you the tools! I cannot believe you punched the entire edge! And your hubby is also right -- it's a marvelous card.
