This was for the challenge to "Strip, Please" so I did. Then I made my card! Well, not really, but I was in my pajamas - does that count?
I cut strips from a sheet if striped cardstock with a stitching theme and wove them together on a rectangle of cardstock that had been lined with 1/2 in. strips of Sookwang Tape. After weaving, I die cut a circle and mounted it on a Beaded Circle cut from glitter cs that matches the turquoise strips. I cut three butterflies from matching glitter cs and three from orange glitter cs. I stamped the sentiment on one of the strips and heat embossed, highlighted with a turquoise Gelly Roll Stardust pen (because after all, this card isn't glittery enough on its own!) then cut it with a banner die. It was popped with foam tape, butterflies layered together and attached with Glossy Accents. All this is adhered to a circle-shaped card. Sookwang tape was used to adhere everything not specifically mentioned.
