I have a "better" idea for Kathy's COURAGE challenge.
But I've spent most of the last two days in bed when I wasn't at work, and my idea will take more than the time it takes to prepare dinner - whereas this card came together quickly and was also inspired by today's F4A challenge, taking a rosette to its logical conclusion.
7x5 base, papers are My Mind's Eye. I used gold glitter card for the scalloped mat layer and the #1, which is popped up on foam dots. Lion was stamped with Scattered Straw and then just the mane inked up with a marker and stamped again. Computer-generated sentiment, Spellbinders tag and gold Dew Drops. Will try to replace with a daylight photo tomorrow...
Paper: white card, gold glitter card, MME Bloom and Grow
Ink: Scattered Straw and Pine Needles distress inks
Accessories: SU scallop edge punch, Spellbinders circle, scalloped circle and double-ended tag, Dew Drops, MFT By the Numbers die-namics, foam dots, orange marker

Wow, this is super cute! I love the bold rosette paired with the sweet lion. The plaid paper pulls it all together with that touch of sparkly paper. The sentiment brings it home. Sabrina, thanks for finding some time to create for the challenge when you are not feeling so well. Rest up and take care of yourself so you can get better. We appreciate your contribution to the gallery of courage.

Sabrina, this is just a cool way to use a rosette. Reminds me of my younger days when we had field day and our ribbons looked like this only minus the lion. hehe Fabulous job today. Hope you feel better soon! TFS :0)
